The wordwhich1Isaiah the son of AmozsawconcerningJudah and Jerusalem.
Now it will come about that 2In the lastdays The 3mountain of the house of the LORD Will be establishedaas the chief of the mountains, And will be raisedabove the hills; And 4all the nations will stream to it.
And manypeoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us bconcerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For the claw will goforth5from Zion And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And He will judgebetween the nations, And will drenderdecisions for manypeoples; And 6they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruninghooks. 7Nation will not lift up swordagainstnation, And neveragain will they learnwar.
5Come, 8house of Jacob, and let us walk in the 9light of the LORD.
For You have 10abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with influences from the east, And they are soothsayers11like the Philistines, And they 12strike bargains with the children of foreigners.
Their land has also been filled with silver and gold And there is noend to their treasures; Their land has also been filled with 13horses And there is noend to their chariots.
Their land has also been 14filled with idols; They worship the 15work of their hands, That which their fingers have made.
So 16the common man has beenhumbled And the man of importance has beenabased, But 17do not forgive them.
1018Enter the rock and hide in the dust19From the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty.
The e20proudlook of man will be abased And the 21loftiness of man will be humbled, And the LORDalone will be exalted in that day.
For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoning Against22everyonewho is proud and lofty And againsteveryone who is lifted up, That he may be abased.
And it will be againstall the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Againstall the 23oaks of Bashan,
14Againstall the 24loftymountains, Againstall the hills that are lifted up,
16Againstall the 26ships of Tarshish And againstall the beautifulcraft.
The pride of man will be humbled And the loftiness of men will be abased; And the LORDalone will be exalted in that day,
But the 27idols will completelyvanish.
Men will 28go into caves of the rocks And into holes of the fgroundBefore the terror of the LORD And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises29to make the earthtremble.
In that daymen will 30castaway to the moles and the 31bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship,
In order to 32go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffsBefore the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earthtremble.
