The two were runningtogether; and the otherdiscipleranaheadfaster than Peter and came to the tombfirst;

and 1stooping and looking in, he saw the 2linenwrappingslying there; but he did not go in.

And soSimonPeteralsocame, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linenwrappingslying there,

and 3the face-clothwhich had been on His head, not lying with the 4linenwrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.

So the otherdisciple who 5had firstcome to the tombthenalsoentered, and he saw and believed.

For as yet6they did not understand the Scripture, 7that He mustriseagain from the dead.

So the discipleswentawayagain8to their ownhomes.

9But Mary was standingoutside the tombweeping; and so, as she wept, she 10stooped and looked into the tomb;

and she saw11twoangels in whitesitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.

And they said to her, "12Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because13they have takenaway my Lord, and I do not knowwhere they have laid Him."

When she had saidthis, she turnedaround and 14sawJesusstanding there, and 15did not know that it was Jesus.
