With manysuchparables He was speaking the word to them, so far as they were able to hear it;

Jesus Stills the Sea
357On that day, when eveningcame, He said to them, "Let us goover to the otherside."

Leaving the crowd, they took Him along with them 8in the boat, just as He was; and otherboats were with Him.

And there arose a fiercegale of wind, and the waves were breakingover the boatso much that the boat was alreadyfilling up.

Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
