And He did not let him, but He said to him, "1Gohome to your people and report to them whatgreatthings the Lord has done for you, and how He hadmercy on you."

And he wentaway and began to 2proclaim in 3DecapoliswhatgreatthingsJesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed.

214When Jesus had crossedoveragain in 5the boat to the otherside, a largecrowdgatheredaround Him; and so He stayed6by the seashore.

7One of 8the synagogueofficialsnamedJairuscame up, and on seeing Him, fell at His feet

and implored Him earnestly, saying, "My littledaughter is at the point of death; please come and 9lay Your hands on her, so that she will getwell and live."

And He wentoff with him; and a largecrowd was following Him and pressing in on Him.

A woman who had had a hemorrhage* for twelveyears,
26
and had enduredmuch at the hands of manyphysicians, and had spentall that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grownworse -
27
after hearingaboutJesus, she came up in the crowdbehind Him and touched His cloak.
28
For she thought, "If I justtouch His garments, I will get well."
29
Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her 10affliction.
