Jesussaid to them, "5A prophet is not withouthonorexcept in 6his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household."

And He coulddono*miraclethereexcept that He 7laid His hands on a fewsickpeople and healed them.

And He wondered at their unbelief. 8And He was goingaround* the villagesteaching.
The Twelve Sent Out
79And 10He summoned the twelve and began to send them out 11in pairs, and gave them authority over the uncleanspirits;

12and He instructed them that they should takenothing for their journey, except a merestaff-nobread, nobag, nomoney in their belt -

but to wearsandals; and He added, "Do not put on twotunics."

And He said to them, "Wherever* you enter a house, staythereuntil you leavetown.

"Anyplace that does not receive you orlisten to you, as you go out from there, 13shake the dustoff the soles of your feet for a testimony against them."

14They went out and preached that men should repent.

And they were casting out manydemons and 15were anointing with oilmanysickpeople and healing them.
