15So, for my part, I am eager to 1preach the gospel to you alsowho are in Rome.
For I am not 2ashamed of the gospel, for 3it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the 4Jewfirst and also to 5the Greek.
For in it 6the righteousness of God is revealedafrom faith to faith; as it is written, "b7BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
For 8the wrath of God is revealed from heavenagainstallungodliness and unrighteousness of men who 9suppress the truthcin unrighteousness,
19because10that which is known about God is evidentdwithin them; for Godmade it evident to them.
For 11since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternalpower and divinenature, have been clearlyseen, 12being understood through whathasbeenmade, so that they are withoutexcuse.
For even though they knewGod, they did not ehonor Him as Godorgivethanks, but they became13futile in their speculations, and their foolishheart was darkened.
2214Professing to be wise, they becamefools,
and 15exchanged the glory of the incorruptibleGod for an image in the form of corruptibleman and of birds and four-footedanimals and fcrawlingcreatures.
24Therefore16Godgave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be 17dishonoredamong them.
For they exchanged the truth of God for ga 18lie, and worshiped and served the creatureratherthan the Creator, 19who is blessedhforever. Amen.
