For the 1anxiouslonging of the creationwaitseagerly for 2the revealing of the 3sons of God.
For the creation4was subjected to 5futility, not willingly, but 6because of Him who subjected it, ain hope21
that 7the creationitselfalso will be setfree from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that the wholecreation8groans and suffers the pains of childbirthtogetheruntilnow.
239And not only this, but also we ourselves, having10the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves11groanwithinourselves, 12waitingeagerly for our adoption as sons, 13the redemption of our body.
For 14in hope we have been saved, but 15hope that is seen is not hope ; for whohopes for what he already sees ?
But 16if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we waiteagerly for it.
In the sameway the Spiritalsohelps our weakness ; for 17we do not knowhow to pray as we should, but 18the SpiritHimselfintercedes for us with groaningstoodeep for words ;
and 19He who searches the heartsknowswhat20the mind of the Spirit is, because He 21intercedes for the bsaintsaccording to the will of God.
And we know that cGodcauses22allthings to worktogether for good to those who loveGod, to those who are 23calledaccording to His purpose.
For thosewhom He 24foreknew, He also25predestined to become 26conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the 27firstbornamongmanybrethren ;
