1 Kings 18:34

And he said, do it the second time, and they did it the second
time
That is, poured four barrels of water more upon the wood:

and he said, do it the third time, and they did it the third time;
so that there were in all twelve barrels of water poured on the wood, agreeably to the number of the twelve stones the altar was built with, and may have respect to the same as they.

32 y usó las piedras para reconstruir el altar en el nombre del Señor
. Luego cavó una zanja alrededor del altar con capacidad suficiente para doce litros de agua.

33 Apiló la leña sobre el altar, cortó el toro en pedazos y puso los pedazos sobre la madera.

, Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob,
demuestra hoy que tú eres Dios en Israel y que yo soy tu siervo; demuestra que yo he hecho todo esto por orden tuya.
