52 »¡Dígnate mantener atentos tus oídos^[a] a la súplica de este siervo tuyo y de tu pueblo Israel! ¡Escúchalos cada vez que te invoquen!

1 Kings 8:52

That thine eyes may be open to the supplication of thy
servant
That is, attentive to it, meaning himself and his present supplication; or any other he should hereafter put up in this place:

and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in
all that they call unto thee:
at any time, and upon any account; so far as may be agreeable to his will, make for his glory, and their good; see ( Deuteronomy 4:7 ) .

50 Perdona a tu pueblo, que ha pecado contra ti; perdona todas las ofensas que te haya infligido. Haz que sus enemigos le muestren clemencia,

51 pues Israel es tu pueblo y tu heredad; ¡tú lo sacaste de aquel horno de fundición que es Egipto!

52 »¡Dígnate mantener atentos tus oídos a la súplica de este siervo tuyo y de tu pueblo Israel! ¡Escúchalos cada vez que te invoquen!

53 Tú los apartaste de todas las naciones del mundo para que fueran tu heredad. Así lo manifestaste por medio de tu siervo Moisés cuando tú, SEÑOR y Dios, sacaste de Egipto a nuestros antepasados».
