Whenhe therefore was come up again, and had brokenbread,andeaten, andtalked* a long while, even till break of day,so he departed.

And they brought the young manalive, andwerenot a littlecomforted.

Andwe went beforetoship, and saileduntoAssos,thereintending to take inPaul:forso had heappointed, mindinghimself to go afoot.

Andwhen he met with usatAssos, we tookhimin, and cametoMitylene.

And we sailedthence, and came the next day over againstChios;and the next day we arrivedatSamos,andtarriedatTrogyllium; and the next day we cametoMiletus.

ForPaul had determined to sail byEphesus,becausehewouldnot spend the timeinAsia:for he hasted, if it werepossible for him, to beatJerusalem the day of Pentecost.

AndfromMiletus he senttoEphesus, and called the elders of the church.

Andwhen they were cometohim, he said unto them,Yeknow, from the firstdaythatIcameintoAsia, after what manner I have beenwithyou at allseasons,

Serving the Lordwithall humility of mind,and with manytears,andtemptations,whichbefellmeby the lying in wait of the Jews:

And how I kept backnothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewedyou,and have taughtyoupublickly,andfrom house to house,

Testifyingboth to the Jews, and also to the Greeks,repentancetowardGod,andfaithtowardourLordJesusChrist.
