1
Praise the LORD.a1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;2 his love endures forever.32
Who can proclaim the mighty acts4 of the LORD or fully declare his praise?
3
Blessed are they who maintain justice,5 who constantly do what is right.64
Remember me,7 O LORD, when you show favor8 to your people, come to my aid9 when you save them,
5
that I may enjoy the prosperity10 of your chosen ones,11 that I may share in the joy12 of your nation and join your inheritance13 in giving praise.
6
We have sinned,14 even as our fathers15 did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.167
When our fathers were in Egypt, they gave no thought17 to your miracles; they did not remember18 your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea,19 the Red Sea.b8
Yet he saved them20 for his name's sake,21 to make his mighty power22 known.
9
He rebuked23 the Red Sea, and it dried up;24 he led them through25 the depths as through a desert.
10
He saved them26 from the hand of the foe;27 from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.2811
The waters covered29 their adversaries; not one of them survived.
12
Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.30
