Psalm 96:4-13 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;1 he is to be feared2 above all gods.3 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,4 but the LORD made the heavens.5 6 Splendor and majesty6 are before him; strength and glory7 are in his sanctuary. 7 Ascribe to the LORD,8 O families of nations,9 ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering10 and come into his courts.11 9 Worship the LORD 12 in the splendor of hisa holiness;13 tremble14 before him, all the earth.15 10 Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns.16" The world is firmly established,17 it cannot be moved;18 he will judge19 the peoples with equity.20 11 Let the heavens rejoice,21 let the earth be glad;22 let the sea resound, and all that is in it; 12 let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest23 will sing for joy;24 13 they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge25 the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness26 and the peoples in his truth.27
