Psalm 96:5-13 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,1 but the LORD made the heavens.2 6 Splendor and majesty3 are before him; strength and glory4 are in his sanctuary. 7 Ascribe to the LORD,5 O families of nations,6 ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering7 and come into his courts.8 9 Worship the LORD9 in the splendor of hisa holiness;10 tremble11 before him, all the earth.12 10 Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns.13" The world is firmly established,14 it cannot be moved;15 he will judge16 the peoples with equity.17 11 Let the heavens rejoice,18 let the earth be glad;19 let the sea resound, and all that is in it; 12 let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest20 will sing for joy;21 13 they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge22 the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness23 and the peoples in his truth.24
