Psalms 42:9

I will say unto God my rock

why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
meaning perhaps Saul; though it may be applied to any spiritual enemy, sin, Satan, and the world; who are very oppressive and afflicting, and occasion continual mourning to the children of God.

7 Un abisso chiama un altro abisso al rumore delle tue cascate; tutte le tue onde ed i tuoi flutti mi son passati addosso.

8 L’Eterno, di giorno, mandava la sua benignità, e la notte eran meco i suoi cantici, la preghiera all’Iddio della mia vita.

10 Trafiggendomi le ossa, i miei nemici mi fanno onta dicendomi continuamente: Dov’è il tuo Dio?

11 Perché t’abbatti anima mia? perché ti commuovi in me? Spera in Dio, perché lo celebrerò ancora; egli è la mia salvezza e il mio Dio.
