8 Do not be like them, 1for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 2Pray then like this: 3"Our Father in heaven, 4hallowed be 5your name.[a]
10 6Your kingdom come, 7your will be done,[b] 8on earth as it is in heaven.
11 9Give us 10this day our daily bread,[c]
12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And 11lead us not into temptation, but 12deliver us from 13evil.[d]
