6 Y si me mostrareis el sueño y su declaración, recibiréis de mí dones y mercedes y gran honra; por tanto, mostradme el sueño y su declaración.

Daniel 2:6

But if ye show the dream, and the interpretation thereof
Which he was extremely intent upon to know; and therefore makes use of every way to obtain it, first by threatenings, to terrify, and next by promises, to allure: ye shall receive of me gifts, and rewards, and great honour;
gold, silver, jewels, rich apparel, houses, lands, and great promotion to some of the highest places of honour, trust, and profit, in the kingdom, as Daniel afterwards had: therefore show me the dream, and the interpretation thereof;
at once, directly, without any more ado; for the king was impatient of it.

4 Y los caldeos hablaron al rey en siriaco: Rey, para siempre vive: di el sueño a tus siervos, y mostraremos la declaración.

5 El rey respondió y dijo a los caldeos: El negocio se me fue de la memoria ; si no me mostráis el sueño y su declaración, seréis hechos pedazos, y vuestras casas serán puestas por muladares.

6 Y si me mostrareis el sueño y su declaración, recibiréis de mí dones y mercedes y gran honra; por tanto, mostradme el sueño y su declaración.

7 Respondieron la segunda vez, y dijeron: Diga el rey el sueño a sus siervos, y le mostraremos su declaración.

8 El rey respondió, y dijo: Yo conozco ciertamente que vosotros ponéis dilaciones, porque veis que el negocio se me ha ido de la memoria .
