I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened1 in order that you may know the hope to which he has called2 you, the riches3 of his glorious inheritance4 in his people,519
and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power6 is the same as the mighty strength720
he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead8 and seated him at his right hand9 in the heavenly realms,1021
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,11 and every name12 that can be invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.1322
And God placed all things under his feet14 and appointed him to be head15 over everything for the church,

which is his body,16 the fullness of him17 who fills everything in every way.18
