Leviticus 7:7

7 sicut pro peccato offertur hostia ita et pro delicto utriusque hostiae lex una erit ad sacerdotem qui eam obtulerit pertinebit

Leviticus 7:7 Meaning and Commentary

Leviticus 7:7

As the sin [offering is], so [is] the trespass [offering,
there is] one law for them
The same as in ( Leviticus 6:27 Leviticus 6:28 ) :

the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it;
who by offering it made atonement for the trespass of the person that brings it, as typical of the atonement by the sacrifice of Christ; he was to have all but what was burnt, for himself and his sons; though no doubt but other priests then on duty in the court ate with him.
