Joshua 1:13

Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord
commanded you
In ( Numbers 32:29 Numbers 32:30 ) ; and to which they had solemnly agreed; and, now the time was come to put it into execution, Joshua reminds them of it:

saying, the Lord your God hath given you rest:
from their travels, and a settlement in a country agreeably to their own desire:

and hath given you this land;
where they now were, and which they had taken from Sihon and Og, kings of the Amorites, and joined to Moab, on the borders of which Israel lay encamped; and by this it appears, that the settlement of these tribes, on the other side Jordan, was according to the will of God; he gave it to them.

14 你 们 的 妻 子 、 孩 子 ， 和 牲 畜 都 可 以 留 在 约 但 河 东 、 摩 西 所 给 你 们 的 地 ； 但 你 们 中 间 一 切 大 能 的 勇 士 都 要 带 着 兵 器 在 你 们 的 弟 兄 前 面 过 去 ， 帮 助 他 们 ，

15 等 到 耶 和 华 使 你 们 的 弟 兄 像 你 们 一 样 得 享 平 安 ， 并 且 得 着 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 　 神 所 赐 他 们 为 业 之 地 ， 那 时 才 可 以 回 你 们 所 得 之 地 ， 承 受 为 业 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 的 仆 人 摩 西 在 约 但 河 东 、 向 日 出 之 地 所 给 你 们 的 。
