2 Crónicas 31:13-21

13 Y Jehiel, Azazías, Nahat, Asael, Jerimot, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismaquías, Mahat, y Benaía, fueron sobrestantes bajo la mano de Conanías y de Simei su hermano, por mandamiento del rey Ezequías y de Azarías, príncipe de la Casa de Dios

14 Y Coré hijo de Imna, el levita, portero al oriente, tenía a su cargo las ofrendas voluntarias de Dios, y las ofrendas del SEÑOR que se daban, y todo lo que se santificaba

15 Y a su mano estaba Edén, Benjamín, Jesúa, Semaías, Amarías, y Secanías, en las ciudades de los sacerdotes, para dar con fidelidad a sus hermanos sus partes conforme a sus órdenes, así al mayor como al menor

16 Sin lo que se contaba para los varones de tres años arriba, a todos los que entraban en la Casa del SEÑOR, cada cosa en su día por su ministerio, por sus estancias y por sus órdenes

17 y a los que eran contados entre los sacerdotes por las familias de sus padres, y a los levitas de edad de veinte años arriba, por sus estancias y órdenes

18 asimismo a los de su generación con todos sus niños, y sus mujeres, y sus hijos e hijas, para toda la compañía; porque en su fe se santificaron en santidad

19 Asimismo a los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, que estaban en los campos de los ejidos de sus ciudades, por todas las ciudades, los varones nombrados tenían a su cargo dar sus porciones a todos los varones de los sacerdotes, y a todo el linaje de los levitas

20 De esta manera hizo Ezequías en todo Judá; el cual hizo lo bueno, recto, y verdadero, delante del SEÑOR su Dios

21 En todo cuanto comenzó en el servicio de la Casa de Dios, y en la ley y mandamientos, buscó a su Dios, y lo hizo de todo corazón, y fue prosperado

INTRODUCTION TO 2 CHRONICLES 31

This chapter begins with the destruction of idolatrous worship, the appointment of the courses of the priests and Levites, and the royal bounty for sacrifices, 2Ch 31:1-3, next follows the order Hezekiah gave, that the people at Jerusalem, and throughout the land, should make the proper provision for the priests and Levites, as the law directed; and which was cheerfully complied with, and the firstfruits and tithes were brought in, in great abundance, insomuch that there was enough, and plenty left, 2Ch 31:4-10, wherefore chambers were prepared in the temple to lay it up in, and persons appointed to be the overseers of it, and to distribute it faithfully to their brethren and their families, to small and great, 2Ch 31:11-19, and the chapter is closed in praise of the works of Hezekiah, and the success that attended him, 2Ch 31:20,21.
