And when Jesus was passed overagainbyshipunto the other side,muchpeoplegathereduntohim:and he wasnigh unto the sea.

And,behold, there comethone of the rulers of the synagogue,Jairus by name;and when he sawhim, he fellathisfeet,

Andbesoughthimgreatly,saying*, My little daughterlieth at the point of death: I pray thee, comeandlay thy hands on her,that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24
And Jesus wentwithhim;andmuchpeoplefollowedhim,andthrongedhim.

And a certainwoman, which had anissue of blood*twelveyears,
26
And had suffered many thingsofmanyphysicians,and had spentall that shehad,andwasnothingbettered, butrathergrewworse*,
27
When she had heardofJesus,camein the pressbehind, and touchedhisgarment.
28
For she said, If* I may touchbuthisclothes, I shall be whole.
29
Andstraightway the fountain of herblood was dried up; and she felt in her bodythat she was healedof that plague.
30
AndJesus,immediatelyknowinginhimself that virtue had gone out ofhim, turned him aboutin the press, and said, Whotouchedmyclothes?

And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

But the womanfearingandtrembling, knowingwhat was doneinher,cameand fell down beforehim,andtoldhimall the truth.

And he said unto her,Daughter,thyfaith hath madetheewhole; goinpeace,andbewholeofthyplague.

Whileheyetspake, there camefrom the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said*, Thydaughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

As soon asJesus*heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue,Benotafraid, onlybelieve.

And he suffered* no man to followhim,savePeter,andJames,andJohn the brother of James.

And he comethto the house of the ruler of the synagogue,andseeth the tumult, and them that weptandwailedgreatly.
39
And when he was come in, he saith unto them,Why make ye this ado, andweep? the damselisnotdead, butsleepeth.
40
And they laughedhim to scorn. But when he had put them allout, he taketh the fatherand the mother of the damsel,and them that were withhim,and entereth inwhere the damselwaslying.
41
And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her,Talithacumi;whichis, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee,arise.
42
Andstraightway the damselarose, andwalked; for she was of the age of twelveyears.And they were astonished with a greatastonishment.
43
And he chargedthemstraitlythat no man should knowit;andcommanded that something should be givenher to eat.
