that you may 1eat and drink at My table in My 2kingdom, and 3you will sit on thronesjudging the twelvetribes of Israel.

"Simon, Simon, behold, 4Satanhasdemanded permission to 5sift you likewheat;

but I 6have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, whenonce you have turnedagain, 7strengthen your brothers."

8But he said to Him, "Lord, with You I amready to goboth to prison and to death!"

And He said, "I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crowtodayuntil you have deniedthreetimes that you know Me."
35
And He said to them, "9When I sent you out withoutmoneybelt and bag and sandals, you did not lackanything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing."
36
And He said to them, "But now, whoeverhas a moneybelt is to take it along, likewisealso a bag, and whoeverhasnosword is to sell his coat and buy one.

"For I tell you that this which is writtenmust be fulfilled in Me, '10AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS '; for 11that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."

They said, "Lord, look, here are two12swords." And He said to them, "It is enough."
The Garden of Gethsemane
3913And He came out and proceeded14as was His custom to 15the Mount of Olives; and the disciplesalsofollowed Him.

16When He arrived at the place, He said to them, "17Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
41
And He withdrew from them about a stone'sthrow, and He 18knelt*down* and began to pray,
42
saying, "Father, if You are willing, removethis19cup from Me; 20yet not My will, but Yours be done."

Now an 21angel from heavenappeared to Him, strengthening Him.
44
And 22being in agony He was prayingveryfervently; and His sweatbecamelikedrops of blood, fallingdown upon the ground.
45
When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,
46
and said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and 23pray that you may not enter into temptation."
