24But Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me yourselves, so that nothing of what you have said may come upon me."25So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord , they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.26But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, "Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza." (This is a desert road. )
10Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Here I am, Lord ."11And the Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying,
17So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
27But Barnabas took hold of him and brought him to the apostles and described to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had talked to him, and how at Damascus he had spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus.28And he was with them, moving about freely in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord .
16"And I remembered the word of the Lord , how He used to say, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'17"Therefore if God gave to them the same gift as He gave to us also after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God's way?"

23Then when he arrived and witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord ;24for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And considerable numbers were brought to the Lord .
17But motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he described to them how the Lord had led him out of the prison. And he said, "Report these things to James and the brethren." Then he left and went to another place.
10and said, "You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to make crooked the straight ways of the Lord ?11"Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and not see the sun for a time." And immediately a mist and a darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking those who would lead him by the hand.12Then the proconsul believed when he saw what had happened, being amazed at the teaching of the Lord .

35But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching with many others also, the word of the Lord .36After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let us return and visit the brethren in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord , and see how they are."
14A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul.15And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord , come into my house and stay." And she prevailed upon us.16It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
30and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"31They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."32And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house.
8Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his household, and many of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.9And the Lord said to Paul in the night by a vision, "Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent;

13But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, "I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches."
24"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
13Then Paul answered, "What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."14And since he would not be persuaded, we fell silent, remarking, "The will of the Lord be done!"
