1 Crónicas 6:49-59

49 Aarón y sus hijos sacrificaban sobre el altar del holocausto y sobre el altar del incienso, para toda la obra del lugar santísimo y para hacer expiación por Israel, conforme a todo lo que Moisés, siervo de Dios, había ordenado.

50 Y estos son los hijos de Aarón: Eleazar su hijo, Finees su hijo, Abisúa su hijo,

51 Buqui su hijo, Uzi su hijo, Zeraías su hijo,

52 Meraiot su hijo, Amarías su hijo, Ahitob su hijo,

53 Sadoc su hijo, Ahimaas su hijo.

54 Y estas son sus moradas, conforme a sus campamentos dentro de sus territorios. A los hijos de Aarón, de las familias de los coatitas (pues a ellos les tocó la primera suerte),

55 a ellos les dieron Hebrón, en la tierra de Judá, y sus tierras de pastos alrededor de ella;

56 pero dieron los campos de la ciudad y sus aldeas a Caleb, hijo de Jefone.

57 Y a los hijos de Aarón dieron las siguientes ciudades de refugio: Hebrón, Libna con sus tierras de pastos, Jatir, Estemoa con sus tierras de pastos,

58 Hilén con sus tierras de pastos, Debir con sus tierras de pastos,

59 Asán con sus tierras de pastos y Bet-semes con sus tierras de pastos.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 6

This chapter begins with the fathers and heads of the tribe of Levi, 1Ch 6:1-3, and reckons up the high priests in the line of Eleazar, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 6:4-15 gives an account of the families of the sons of Levi, 1Ch 6:16-30 and of those Levites that were employed as singers, and in other ministrations in the sanctuary in the times of David and Solomon, 1Ch 6:31-49, then follows a repetition of the sons of Aaron in the line of Eleazar, to the said times, 1Ch 6:50-53, and a recital of the dwelling places of the Levites in the several tribes, 1Ch 6:54-81.
