Salmos 33:1-6

1 Cantem de alegria ao SENHOR, vocês que são justos;aos que são retos fica bem louvá-lo.

2 Louvem o SENHOR com harpa;ofereçam-lhe música com lira de dez cordas.

3 Cantem-lhe uma nova canção;toquem com habilidade ao aclamá-lo.

4 Pois a palavra do SENHOR é verdadeira;ele é fiel em tudo o que faz.

5 Ele ama a justiça e a retidão;a terra está cheia da bondade do SENHOR.

6 Mediante a palavra do SENHOR foram feitos os céus,e os corpos celestes, pelo sopro de sua boca.

INTRODUCTION TO PSALM 33

Though this psalm has no title to it, it seems to be a psalm of David, from the style and matter of it; and indeed begins with the same words with which the preceding psalm is ended. Theodoret is of opinion it was written by David as a prophecy concerning Hezekiah, as a song to be sung by the people after the destruction of the Assyrian army.
