23If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him;24and he is gracious to him, and says, 'Deliver him from going down into the Pit, I have found a ransom;
12Then the angel of the LORD said, 'O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou have no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these seventy years?'13And the LORD answered gracious and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.
13But to what angel has he ever said, "Sit at my right hand, till I make thy enemies a stool for thy feet"?14Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to serve, for the sake of those who are to obtain salvation?
8And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne;10they cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before thou wilt judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?"11Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
3And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;4and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.
