For the nation or kingdom that will not serve4 you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.513
"The glory of Lebanon6 will come to you, the pine, the fir and the cypress together,7 to adorn the place of my sanctuary;8 and I will glorify the place of my feet.914
The sons of your oppressors10 will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down11 at your feet and will call you the City12 of the LORD, Zion13 of the Holy One14 of Israel.
"Although you have been forsaken15 and hated, with no one traveling16 through, I will make you the everlasting pride17 and the joy18 of all generations.
You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed19 at royal breasts. Then you will know20 that I, the LORD, am your Savior,21 your Redeemer,22 the Mighty One of Jacob.23
