Jeremiah 31:34-37 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
34 No longer will a man teach1 his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know2 me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive3 their wickedness and will remember their sins4 no more." 35 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints5 the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night,6 who stirs up the sea7 so that its waves roar8-- the LORD Almighty is his name:9 36 "Only if these decrees10 vanish from my sight," declares the LORD, "will the descendants11 of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me." 37 This is what the LORD says: "Only if the heavens above can be measured12 and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject13 all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done," declares the LORD.
