And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up ; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say , Arise , and take up thy bed, and walk ?
I say unto thee, Arise , and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
And immediately he arose , took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed , and glorified God, saying , We never saw it on this fashion.
And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth .
And should sleep , and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up , he knoweth not how.
And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is , being interpreted , Damsel, I say unto thee, arise .
And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said , That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
But when Herod heard thereof, he said , It is John, whom I beheaded : he is risen from the dead.
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up ; and he arose .
And Jesus stood still , and commanded him to be called . And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort , rise ; he calleth thee.
And as touching the dead, that they rise : have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying , I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise , and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce , if it were possible, even the elect.
But after that I am risen , I will go before you into Galilee.
Rise up , let us go ; lo , he that betrayeth me is at hand .
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted : Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified : he is risen ; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat , and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen .
