Luke 19:3-13

And 1he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was small of stature.
So he ran on ahead and climbed up into 2a sycamore tree to see him, for he was about to pass that way.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for 3I must stay at your house today."
So he hurried and came down and 4received him joyfully.
And when they saw it, they all 5grumbled, "He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner."
And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, the half of my goods 6I give to the poor. And if I have 7defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it 8fourfold."
And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, since 9he also is a son of Abraham.
For 10the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

The Parable of the Ten Minas

As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because 11they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately.
He said therefore, 12"A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return.
Calling 13ten of his servants,[a] he gave them ten minas,[b] and said to them, 'Engage in business 14until I come.'
