1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household1 and go to the land2 I will show you.3 2 "I will make you into a great nation4 and I will bless you;5 I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.6 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;7 and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.8" 4 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot9 went with him.
