And ye are puffed up , and have not rather mourned , that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid .
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age , and need so require , let him do what he will , he sinneth not: let them marry .
Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Whether therefore ye eat , or drink , or whatsoever ye do , do all to the glory of God.
And when he had given thanks , he brake it, and said , Take , eat : this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped , saying , This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye , as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
