5"But now4I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, '5Where are You going?'

"But because I have saidthesethings to you, 6sorrow has filled your heart.

"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I goaway; for if I do not goaway, the 7Helper will not come to you; but if I go, 8I will send Him to you.

"And He, when He comes, will convict the worldconcerningsin and righteousness and judgment;

concerningsin, 9because they do not believe in Me;

and concerning10righteousness, because11I go to the Father and you nolongersee Me;

12and concerningjudgment, because the ruler of thisworld has been judged.

"I havemanymorethings to say to you, but you cannot*bear them now.

"But when He, 13the Spirit of truth, comes, He will 14guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His owninitiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
