"Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for 2the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.

"Whatevercity you enter and they receive you, 3eat what is setbefore you;

and healthose in it who are sick, and say to them, '4The kingdom of God has comenear to you.'

"But whatever*city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,

'5Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipeoff in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that 6the kingdom of God has comenear.'

"I say to you, 7it will be moretolerable in that day for 8Sodomthan for that city.

"9Woe to you, 10Chorazin! Woe to you, 11Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in 12Tyre and Sidonwhichoccurred in you, they would have repentedlongago, sitting in 13sackcloth and ashes.

"But it will be moretolerable for 14Tyre and Sidon in the judgmentthan for you.
