21May it never be! How shall we who2died to sinstilllive in it?
3Or do you not know that all of us who have been 3baptized into 4ChristJesus have been baptized into His death?
4Therefore we have been 5buried with Him throughbaptism into death, so that as Christ was 6raised from the deadthrough the 7glory of the Father, so we too might walk in 8newness of life.
For 9if we have becomeaunited with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be bin the likeness of His resurrection,
6knowingthis, that our 10oldcself was 11crucified with Him, in order that our 12body of sin might be ddoneaway with, so that we would nolonger be slaves to sin;
for 13he who has died is efreed from sin.
8Now14if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall alsolive with Him,
9knowing that Christ, having been 15raised from the dead, fis never to dieagain; 16deathnolonger is masterover Him.
For the death that He died, He died to sinonce for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
11Evensoconsideryourselves to be 17dead to sin, but alive to God in ChristJesus.
12Therefore do not let sin18reign in your mortalbodyso that you obey its lusts,
