18 For 1the wrath of God is revealed from heavenagainstallungodliness and unrighteousness of men who 2suppress the truth[a]in unrighteousness,
19
because3that which is known about God is evident[b]within them; for Godmade it evident to them.
20
For 4since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternalpower and divinenature, have been clearlyseen, 5being understood through whathasbeenmade, so that they are withoutexcuse.
21
For even though they knewGod, they did not [c]honor Him as Godorgivethanks, but they became6futile in their speculations, and their foolishheart was darkened.
23
and 8exchanged the glory of the incorruptibleGod for an image in the form of corruptibleman and of birds and four-footedanimals and [d]crawlingcreatures.
24
Therefore9Godgave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be 10dishonoredamong them.
25
For they exchanged the truth of God for [e]a 11lie, and worshiped and served the creatureratherthan the Creator, 12who is blessed[f]forever. Amen.
26
For thisreason13Godgave them over to 14degradingpassions; for their womenexchanged the naturalfunction for that which is [g]unnatural*,
27
and in the samewayalso the menabandoned the naturalfunction of the woman and burned in their desiretowardoneanother, 15men with mencommitting[h]indecentacts and receiving in [i]their ownpersons the duepenalty of their error.
28
And just as they did not seefit[j]to acknowledge*God any longer, 16Godgave them over to a depravedmind, to dothose things which are not proper,
29
being filled with allunrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are 17gossips,
30
slanderers, [k]18haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, 19disobedient to parents,
32
and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practicesuchthings are worthy of 21death, they not onlydo the same, but also22giveheartyapproval to those who practice them.
