"YOU HAVE MADE HIM FOR A LITTLEWHILELOWERTHAN THE ANGELS; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAVE APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS;

YOU HAVE PUTALLTHINGS IN SUBJECTIONUNDER HIS FEET." For in subjectingallthings to him, He leftnothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yetseeallthingssubjected to him.

But we do see Him who was made for a littlewhilelowerthan the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of deathcrowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might tastedeath for everyone.

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are allthings, and throughwhom are allthings, in bringingmanysons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvationthroughsufferings.

Therefore, since the childrenshare in flesh and blood, He Himselflikewisealsopartook of the same, that throughdeath He might renderpowerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Therefore, He had to be madelike His brethren in allthings, so that He might become a merciful and faithfulhighpriest in things pertaining to God, to makepropitiation for the sins of the people.
