And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clotheslying; yet went henotin.

ThencomethSimonPeterfollowinghim,andwentinto the sepulchre,andseeth the linen clotheslie,

And the napkin,thatwasabouthishead,notlyingwith the linen clothes,but wrapped togetherin a place by itself*.

Thenwentinalso that otherdisciple,whichcamefirstto the sepulchre,and he saw, andbelieved.

For as yet they knewnot the scripture,thathemust rise againfrom the dead.

Then the disciples went awayagainunto their own home.

ButMarystoodwithoutat the sepulchreweeping: andas she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

Andseethtwoangelsinwhitesitting, the oneat the head,and the otherat the feet,where the body of Jesus had lain.

Andtheysay unto her,Woman,why weepest thou? She saith unto them,Because they have taken awaymyLord,and I knownotwhere they have laidhim.

And when she hadthussaid, she turnedherselfback,andsawJesusstanding, andknewnotthat it wasJesus.

Jesussaith unto her,Woman,why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?She,supposing* him to be the gardener,saith unto him,Sir,ifthou have bornehimhence, tellmewhere thou hast laidhim, and I will takehimaway.
