The Phariseesalso with the Sadduceescame, andtemptingdesiredhim that he would shewthem a signfromheaven.

Heanswered and said unto them,When it isevening, ye say, It will be fair weather:for the sky is red.

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day:for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye candiscern* the face of the sky;but can yenot discern the signs of the times?

A wickedandadulterousgeneration seeketh after a sign;and there shall nosign be given unto it,but the sign of the prophetJonas.And he leftthem, and departed.

And when hisdisciples were cometo the other side, they had forgotten to takebread.

ThenJesussaid unto them,Take heedandbewareof the leaven of the Phariseesand of the Sadducees.

And they reasonedamongthemselves,saying, It is because we have takennobread.
