giving thanks to the Father,1 who has qualified youa to share in the inheritance2 of the saints in the kingdom of light.313
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness4 and brought us into the kingdom5 of the Son he loves,614
in whom we have redemption,b7 the forgiveness of sins.8
He is the image9 of the invisible God,10 the firstborn11 over all creation.
For by him all things were created:12 things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;13 all things were created by him and for him.1417
He is before all things,15 and in him all things hold together.
And he is the head16 of the body, the church;17 he is the beginning and the firstborn18 from among the dead,19 so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
For God was pleased20 to have all his fullness21 dwell in him,
and through him to reconcile22 to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven,23 by making peace24 through his blood,25 shed on the cross.
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies26 in your minds27 because ofc your evil behavior.
But now he has reconciled28 you by Christ's physical body29 through death to present you30 holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation31--
