Nettle

Nettle, [E]

a well-known plant covered with minute sharp hairs; containing a poison that produces a painful, stifling sensation. It grows on neglected ground. A different Hebrew word in ( Job 30:7 ; Proverbs 24:31 ; Zephaniah 2:9 ) seems to indicate a different species. [E] indicates this entry was also found in Easton's Bible Dictionary
