But he, 8full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw 9the glory of God, and Jesus standing 10at the right hand of God.

And he said, “Behold, I see 11the heavens opened, and 12the Son of Man standing 13at the right hand of God. ”

But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together[a] at him.

Then 14they cast him out of the city and 15stoned him. And 16the witnesses laid down their garments 17at the feet of a young man named Saul.

And as they were stoning Stephen, 18he called out, “Lord Jesus, 19receive my spirit. ”

And 20falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, 21“Lord, do not hold this sin against them. ” And when he had said this, 22he fell asleep.
