John 15:14-17

You are 1my friends 2if you do what I command you.
3No longer do I call you servants,[a] for the servant[b] 4 does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for 5all that I have heard from my Father 6I have made known to you.
You did not choose me, but 7I chose you and appointed you that you should go and 8bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that 9whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
These things I command you, 10so that you will love one another.
