Jesus Pronounces Woes

24 ¹“But woe to you who are rich, ²for you ³have received your consolation.

25 “Woe to you who are full now, for ⁴you shall be hungry. “Woe to ⁵you who laugh now, ⁶for you shall mourn and weep.

26 “Woe to you, ⁷when all people speak well of you, for ⁸so their fathers did to ⁹the false prophets.
