1 Praise awaits^a you, O God, in Zion;¹ to you our vows will be fulfilled.² 2 O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come.³ 3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,⁴ you forgave^b our transgressions.⁵ 4 Blessed are those you choose⁶ and bring near⁷ to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house,⁸ of your holy temple. 5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,⁹ O God our Savior,¹⁰ the hope of all the ends of the earth¹¹ and of the farthest seas,¹² 6 who formed the mountains¹³ by your power, having armed yourself with strength,¹⁴ 7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,¹⁵ the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.¹⁶
