1 John 1:7-10

7 But ¹if we walk in the light, ²as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and ³the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 ⁴If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and ⁵the truth is not in us.

9 ⁶If we confess our sins, he is ⁷faithful and just to forgive us our sins and ⁸to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say we have not sinned, ⁹we make him a liar, and ¹⁰his word is not in us.
