John 7:37-39

Rivers of Living Water

37 ¹On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ²“If anyone thirsts, let him ³come to me and drink.

38 Whoever believes in me, ⁴as^[a] the Scripture has said, ⁵‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of ⁶living water. ’”

39 Now ⁷this he said about the Spirit, ⁸whom those who believed in him were to receive, ⁹for as yet the Spirit had not been ¹⁰given, ¹¹because Jesus was not yet glorified.
