1 Chroniques 26:1-7

1 Voici les classes des portiers. Des Koréites: Meschélémia, fils de Koré, d'entre les fils d'Asaph.

2 Fils de Meschélémia: Zacharie, le premier-né, Jediaël le second, Zebadia le troisième, Jathniel le quatrième,

3 Elam le cinquième, Jochanan le sixième, Eljoénaï le septième.

4 Fils d'Obed-Edom: Schemaeja, le premier-né, Jozabad le second, Joach le troisième, Sacar le quatrième, Nethaneel le cinquième,

5 Ammiel le sixième, Issacar le septième, Peulthaï le huitième; car Dieu l'avait béni.

6 A Schemaeja, son fils, naquirent des fils qui dominèrent dans la maison de leur père, car ils étaient de vaillants hommes;

7 fils de Schemaeja: Othni, Rephaël, Obed, Elzabad et ses frères, hommes vaillants, Elihu et Semaeja.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 26

In this chapter we have a further account of the disposition and distribution of the Levites, to serve in other offices, as of porters at the several gates of the temple, for which they cast lots, 1Ch 26:1-19 of others, as over the treasures of the house of the Lord, 1Ch 26:20-28, and of others that were appointed judges in the land, to administer justice to the people, 1Ch 26:29-32.
