12 Three days later Jeroboam and all the people returned to Rehoboam, as the king had said, “Come back to me in three days.”

So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day,
&c.] Jeroboam came to him at the head of the people, being the head of the faction, and designed for their king:

as the king had appointed, saying, come to me again the third day;
