Matthew 14:1-12

Today we’ll meet up with pastor Jeff Johnson in Matthew chapter fourteen.  Once again we’ll be discussing the conscience here today, uncovering the good and bad of it.  

There’s a fierce battle going on today between good and evil!  But maybe like many you haven’t given much thought as to the tactics you’re using for this battle?  Today on Light on the Hill pastor James Kaddis will help us see the difference between good and bad spiritual tactics, so we’ll be better prepared for what we’re facing in this spiritual war.  

Bible teaching from the book of Matthew chapter 14 verses 1-12. About Baruch:  R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L'amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew). A similar Bible Study program in English is broadcast on numerous television networks across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Many of his lectures are available in the forms of video, audio and written on Pdut.org (Hebrew) and LoveIsrael.org (English). Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel. We’re talking about the Conscience today, both the good and bad of it.  Today we’ll encounter three groups of people, and the first of which are Christ’s enemies!  

Did you know that the Bible speaks of Godly men who stood as political dissidents against evil and unrighteous rulers? In many cases they were not only persecuted, but even killed! There really is a battle between good and evil, and if we don’t engage in that battle, we become casualties of it!  That comes to our attention today on Light on the Hill as pastor James Kaddis opens Matthew chapter fourteen.
